I agree with you about the tragic nature of the killing, but I am interested to find out how leading Christians will handle the negative PR of having their own religious extremism played out in the media. Christians have been comfortably pointing the finger of extremism at Muslims for quite awhile and now it is their turn to explain themselves.

As tragic as this event is, it strikes a devastating blow to the anti-abortion lobby.  Barring the excessively few number of people justifying the act, public outrage is enormously high.  It seems George Tiller's final act was to functionally ensure abortion's presence in 21st century America.
