Hey everyone,

Should we accept a challenge for a vote chess game where it is 12 hrs/move?

I know I can't be around like all of Saturday, and for this week a lot of sunday and monday.  But if we can cover it and if we want to play it then ...

yeah?  or no?

I thanked them for the challenge, declined it and told them why; and then I issued them a new challenge, 3 days per move calling the game "Molto Adagio", since it's 3 days/move and they are a rapid chess team.  We'll see if they take it.

I agree that the time needs to be increased.  If we had a a larger group then perhaps, but not with our numbers.

when I get in later I can click "no thanks" on the challenge.  I can also message their admins and just say we're too small of a group to risk timing out in the game, which is something no one wants.  We could issue a challenge for a proper 3 days/move thing if we want.

I'll check in later and see what we think.

Also this is quite literally the first thing I've ever done as "admin" and if Bardamu has an opinion or if I'm stepping on anyone's toes, let me hear it!

    I'm inclined to agree.

    I think it's too risky.
