Just simply terrible news! Our GOOD friend and a beloved S/A's ALAN_TUDOR, his house burned down to the ground! It is a total loss, and he has lost literaly EVERYTHING! Perhaps you may want to send him a letter or message giving him and his lovely wife a few words of support! I AM A CHRISTIAN!!! To me BAD things happen to give us an oppertunity to HELP someone in need! We are a chess team that sticks together, and supports each other!  I hope that the friendship and unity that this team has, extends beyond the Chess Boards, and we can show our support for him, in his great time of need in real life, also!

 .......... I myself, I have already put $20.00 into an Envelope, and sent it to him! (His wife cried when she got it!) He has no money, and no place to live or stay, and both his cars burned up too!! He needs some help to keep his head above water JUST UNTILL HE CAN GET A CHECK FROM HIS INSURANCE COMPANY! This may take many months! I am starting a campaign to raise a little cash for him in the mean time, so he can at least, by some PET FOOD for his DOG'S and CAT'S! Not asking for much! ONLY $1.00! A lot of people won't help people out, but, have a soft spot for Dog's and Cat's! Alan is a animal lover as am I also! In fact I am an animal NUT! Well if ALAN and his WIFE have nothing to eat, OH WELL! BUT HEAVEN FORBID A DOG or CAT goes a day without eating! ........ The point is, if you don't want to do anything to help people, (and lot's of people are like that) that's fine, then just Send $1.00 if you want to, so he can buy a can of ALPO, or 9-lives tuna!

Just $1.00 !!! PLEASE NOTE* It is not the $1.00 you put in the Envelope that matters, it is the LOVE and show of support that you put in that PLAIN WHITE Envelope that Matters! I'm telling you, that his wife cry's every time she get's an envelope! It brings just a little JOY and HOPE to a beautiful couple who have lost everything that took them a life time to achieve, in just a few minutes! 

If you feel particulary generous, you could even put $2.00 or maybe even a GIFT CARD in the envelope, too!!

PUT YOUR CHESS.COM USER NAME on the Back of the Envelope, so not only can ALAN and his WIFE send YOU a personal thank you note, but so that I can post in a forum, the progress of the campaign, and the names of the people who took the time to place just a single $1.00 bill into an envelope and mail it to him! $1.00 might not seem like much, but it add's up quick, and everyone can spare-a-buck!
