For those who can view programmes on BBC iplayer there is an hour and a half doc on the life of Bobby Fischer. Genius and Madman.
phantomfears
He was barking later on in his life but it seems to have been a product of his early life. I remember when I was super young watching him interviewed on a programme and the interviewer said he had heard that Fischer could remember every move from every game he played and proceeded to show him a number of positions from games throughout his carreer which we identified correctly. That was what got me into chess back in the day.
gambit-man
yeah, i watched it the other night (morning, it was on VERY late).
it's the same programme as the HBO production "Fischer Against the World".
I'm too young to remember, but it seems to depict him as more of a madman than genius... just my opinion
