I shouldn't reveal this but I do play the Caro Kann a lot and I never ever seing the continuation 4... Nd7 in the 2 knights variation before. It should be considered an awful mistake.

Black continues with 4...Nf6 5. Ng3-c5 or 5. Nxf6-gxf6 and both sides are equal.
