ChIP Step 6

Submitted by kbcbishop on Mon, 03/24/2008 at 7:33pm.

(6) Implement your plans.

Here are the steps to this point. (1) Evaluate. (2) Identify needs/dreams. (3) Determine priorities. (4) Set goals. (5) Make action plans. Now, step 6 is to implement. Put feet to your plans. This is the time to do it! Stop thinking about it and get to work. Work at it with all your mind and strength. Focus. Reinforce. Get advice. Add helpful routines/habits. And don't forget to pause at an appropriate amount of time to start the whole process all over again!

These six steps with time and implementation will result in improvement in your game. Where do you need to start?

I agree with farbror.  Life has been pretty crazy lately, but I like the posts and appreciate the reminder they provide.  Rule 1 from now on is to calculate how many games a tournament will put in my game list.  I got swamped- never again, I need some study time.

Darryl, Your ChIP posts have been very helpful. I still lack the time to do something about my chess skills but the ChIP posts have helped me to use my sparse time more effectively!

Great Job!
