Saturday 19th July


Registration 8.30 am

Entries close 9.00 am

Round 1 9.30 am (followed by lunch)

Round 2 12.30 pm

Round 3 3.00 pm

Round 4 5.30 pm


Sunday 20th July


Round 5 8.30 am sharp

Round 6 11.00 am (followed by lunch)

Round 7 1.45 pm




Presentations will be made at a barbecue (free) immediately following close of play.


Rate of play

60 minutes plus 10 seconds per move from the start.



The SwissPerfect pairing option (Barred Pairings) will be used to reduce the chance of players from one club being paired against club mates in the early rounds. Discretion of DOP will apply.

(Players are eligible for only one cash prize) Prizes will be shared in the event of a tie

The Rating Divisions will be determined by dividing the players into groups of at least 10 players. Unrated players will be placed in Rating Divisions by the DOP based on their results in the first three rounds

Junior (U18) $40

Cadets (U14) $20

GMs and IMs free entry

Late entry fee of $10 for entries received after Friday 9th November


Entry fees have been reduced this year and include free barbecue at the close of play on Sunday.
