Greetings all you brave Iowans.  Sorry its been so long since my last long boring email.  But I am here to bore you now.

Lets start out with the two challenges we lost......Okay, enough of that.

First of all we had a bout with Team Croatia and whupped em up 7-3.  Hugs and kisses to vrntrvs, N8H and dalthorp for shutting down the verocious Croutiations with two wins each.

Next was Harvest Time U1600 against "Chess Chumps" errrr  "Chess Champs".  We gave our sister another smooch on this one with the final being 8-8.  The good news was King_of_pawns, jaronson and kjschlabach all took both their matches against those folks.

Homecoming Weekend followed next against World Stars but the good guys put a stop to them with a 7-5 victory.  kjschlabach and neilmartinsenburrell both gave a pair of shiners to them there stars.

Shortly after World Stars we were invaded by The Warriors of Chess.com.  Im not to sure Chess.com is claiming them after delcarpenter was done with em.  Del put a couple notches on his scoop shovel and we won The Warriors vs Team Iowa 5-3.

Our last bout was October U1600 against Balkan Chess Unity.  A nail biter indeed and a big woohoo to Sir Benjamin for taking his guy out back and securing 7.5-6.5 win for the Iowa folks with his one two punch.

Okay real quick...  We are ranked today 270 of 6866.  We have won 58% of our matches and are in the 96 percentile of Team Chess leaderboard.  WOOHOOHOO!
