The 2nd round of the European League is starting and registration is open for the match against Belarus. After our excellent start with a win over Luxembourg I urge all of you to join so as to continue in like fashion. I would just like to add for the benefit of players who are new to Team matches that the format is as follows. Players are paired with the opposing player who is closest to their rating and two matches are played against this player only - one with white and one with black. One point is scored for a win and half for a draw and the winning team is obviously the one with the greatest overall total. The games are played one at a time so it is not a very big committment.
