Everton v. Bolton

Looking at Evertons' shots on goal before halftime and their time of possession 64% to 36% for Bolton, how could Bolton have gone in front 2-0 ? Bolton had only taken 5 shots on goal, I think it was.
Because Bolton are not a talented team Everton did not get buried as they did against Benfica Portugal. However, it is certain the Everton players were asleep in front of their own goal the first half. It is the only way Bolton could have scored twice mid way through the first half. Blame it on playing and 3 games in 8 days if you must. It was still another case of the Everton coaches not having their team motivated and ready to play at the whistle.
" If you can crawl, you can walk. If you can walk, you can run. If you can run you are not tired! So, lets go out there and score some goals. Anyone who is tired can sit on the bench in a frock. When the going gets tough, the tough get going."
The Everton players then did get tough and they did get going, responding, shortly after halftime to make it a 2-2 score.
" Everton have never scored more than two goals in away games at Bolton in the Premier League." That trend continues. Bolton scored a third goal late, and Everton did not secure their usual drawn result against inferior competition.
Everton prefers to let the opposing teams score first. " Oh, no, no, no. No, no, no, Pardone'. After you. No. Please, after you. I insist.
They are a polite team, not a hungry team. They gave Bolton the first two goals in David Moyes' spirit of praising every other coach in the league, tranquility and co-operation with others. There is a name for that, but it is not polite to mention.
