well...i only listen to famous songs/bands/artists. it may seem an insipid and totally bland idea. but the truth is that songs are famous for a reason. I prefer the older ones since they are always famous for a reason and not famous because of just being famous. yes i am talking about 4 minutes by madonna. a classic example.

I respect beethoven and "pathetique" is a very refreshing melody. but i will never develop taste for that.

My favourite songs: enjoy the silence - depeche mode. stairway to heaven - led zepplin. brothers in arms - dire straits. belfast child - simple minds. come undone - duran duran. et cetera.

I love classical music, (do not think of me as weird thanks to this) my favourite artists are Bach, Beethoven, Vivaldi, and Mozart.  My favourite piece is 'Sonata No. 8 "Pathetique" 2nd movement by Beethoven.
