phplO1rH0.jpegThe 2013 London Candidates competition will surely go down in chess history as one of the most exciting world championship qualifying events ever held.

After a few early glitches the official website worked well, and the video coverage and commentary was excellent.

Thanks to all the players, organisers, the venue and everyone involved in the event for putting on a great show!

The closing ceremony and prize-giving took place at 11 Downing Street, the official residence of Britain's Chancellor of the Exchequer.

    I loved every minute of the tournament.  

    Chucky looks cute and shy behind the sofa.  I also love the photo of the guys with Nelson's Column in the background.

    the only negative on the website was the chess pieces! when was the last time you could play with a set where the black pcs,. were "red"! london classic was a much better show as far as commentary.
