FM Charles Galofre will cover Round 8 of the Tal Memorial on Friday 13 November starting at 5:30 am Pacific Time (US) on Chess TV.

Pairings will be: Kramnik-Leko, Gelfand-Anand, Carlsen-Ponomariov, Aronian-Ivanchuk, Morozevich-Svidler.

Awesome, its to bad I will be snoozing as Round 8 flies by... I am hoping for a first win by Magnus Carlsen(my chess hero.)

This would be interesting.

My predictions-

Kramnik-Leko 1-0(It would be interesting to see if Leko can resist against Kramnik)

Gelfand-Anand 0-1(Anand though not in his true form this tourney is destined to come back)

Carlsen-ponomariov 1/2-1/2(carlsen is seriously taken by the flu thing)

Aronian-Ivanchuk 1/2-1/2

Morozevich-Svidler 1-0(It would be nice if Svidler tries The Albin Countergambit against Morozevich)
