Dear Team Lebanon members,

First thing I want to say is ahla sahla to all our new members! It is great to see Team Lebanon growing and also getting stronger on the boards in team matches and also in vote chess.

This newspost is primarily to discuss our vote chess games. It is really important that we operate as a team, as team mates, not against each other, or we will lose matches and also not enjoy the matches together. In the past we have enjoyed great harmony in our team, with discussions always made with respect and patience. Our highest rated players Tactics and Georges didn't always agree on moves but when they didn't they tried to give analyses for their preferred move. We never had any disputes or any disharmony in our games. Now our team has grown and not everyone understands how vote chess works BEST. It is not acceptable to complain about a past move that lost us pieces or lost us tempo or position by anyone who did not provide a good analyses for a different preferred move for that move the person is complaining about. You can't say "we should have moved d4 instead of R2" in an attacking way if back at the time you didn't push for that "better" move back then. If you don't like a move  being suggested then you should be saying why, give an analysis/line to say why it is bad or show one for a better move, to help convince the team to go with your move. To  blame someone later and you didn't suggest a different move and say why it's better is the worst thing you can do as  a respected team member.  

It is VERY important that everyone DOES NOT MOVE until the VOTE NOW sign is put up by the captain
who has assessed the discussion and will call the most preferred move by the top rated players, that gave analyses. There will be times the captain will call 2 moves to choose from, depending on analyses given. One assigned person will be making a safety vote before the move is called by the captain to ensure we don't lose on time.

I really  need backup captains in the games and Ali and I would both like to offer the positions of backup captains to Georges and Tactics, simply because they are long standing members in Team Lebanon who have played constantly for the team and never deserted the team. I can't always guarantee I can log in on time with 24 hour moves hence I would like someone to back me up in the games and they have earned the positions being the most active players in our vote chess games and we feel confident we can rely on them. Please answer here Georges and Tactics if you have time to be my backup captains in the current games and we will appoint you as admins to Team Lebanon. I need one backup captain to back me up  in 1 game and the other backup captain to back me up in the other 2 games. If you don't have time then we will try to find another TL member.
