Vote Chess if fun because each move is like a puzzle.  And you have at most only partial responsibility for the moves that lose.  I would like to have many more  staggered Vote Chess games (more than a dozen anyway), so that any day when I log on, I have a position or two in various game stages to analyze.

Team matches seem great.  When I play more chess in months to come, I will want to play more of those.  It is like tournament play on a smaller scale, as far as I can tell.  And for the record.  For our nation.  화이팅!

yes i see what u guys are trying to say. u guys aren't forced to do anything but it would help if you guys could at least choose something to participate in

Vote chess games proceed based on time, not on how many people have voted. So, conceivably, if for some reason nobody else on your team voted along with you, then you could be making all of the decisions by yourself. The bummer is that you would have still wait the three days (or whatever) before your move was submitted.

Which is why they take so damn long. And, unless you can absolutely guarantee that every team member will vote on each game, then the strength of your moves changes with each group voting. It's a rather wild, unpredictable thing.

I am new to both types of games. I also prefer team matches because vote chess seems to take too long.

Does it proceed right away if all of participants vote, or does it proceed only after the given time? If latter than it's a huge disadvantage...It's an interesting type anyway.

i love me some team matches. vote matches, however, i am less enthusiastic about, personally.

how about the rest of you? should we focus on starting more team matches, or more vote matches? or both?
