MINUTES

Wednesday, February 11, 2009 ~ 12:13 PM ~ Library

Attendance:  Matt Webb (Vice-President), Brian Beecher (Advisor), Jordan Hartwig (Treasurer), Jill Alderman, Paul Bordner, Melissa Lueck (Secretary), Josiah Stone (President).

2. Meeting called to order at 12:13 p.m.
3. Minutes Approved / Agenda approved.
4. Old Business.       
   1. Nick French’s Opening Lecture.

                                                              i.      Will be on Wednesday March 4 @ 7:00 pm.

                                                            ii.      Someone needs to make fliers for this event

                                                          iii.      Brian needs to check w/ business office to see if AH106 or W130 will be free for Wed. March 4.

                                                          iv.      Event will be open to the public

                                                            v.      Brian needs to contact Carrie about himself or Bill taping Nick French’s lecture

-          Put together a DVD for people to check it out at the library

-          Put it on you tube UW site or chess.com

                                                          vi.      Make sure DGT boards are working for the lecture

                                                        vii.      Brian, ask Nick to see if he needs a rehearsal.

                                                      viii.      Get a podium with UW logo on it

   1. Matt Webb is the new replacement for Vice President to fill in for Charles Aldrich.
   2. May feast
