4-4
In his debut match for Team Wales, henry_foley has jumped all over his Greek adversary in the first game, giving a lesson in small piece play to someone rated 321 points higher!
“theharry” Greek probably didn’t see it coming when henry_foley played the deadly but seldom seen Philidor's Defense, a favorite of Paul Morphy, deviating from reference on the 6th move with 4…Nf6!? This little seen implement apparently had tremendous shock value.
Played in Pavlov vs. Demkovich 2003.08.17, it was successful then as it was in this game. That game continued 5.Bb5+ while the current game went on with 5.Nc3, which is slower.
Early pawn stretches on the kingside, coupled with a subsequent queenside expansion, (eeek! Where are they all coming from!!??
) left the gaping Greek gasping (3x fast please) for air and he hung a piece on move 16 while sucking on some dolmathakia, cleverly concealing the blunder as an attacking move and setting the pace for the remainder of the game, succumbing to a sweet tactical series with a knight starting on move 34. The knight moves resulted in an h-file screamer that convinced harried “theharry” to take a dirt nap.

Showing them how in Greece henry_foley, so notch the belt! And welcome again to Team Wales!
