New Ladder System Launched!

Important News:
As of Monday Nov 9, 2009 the New GrayMatter Ladder system on CHESS.COM has been launched! This is a much more flexible and dynamic ladder approach than what we have had up until now. I trust you'll enjoy it. Please see the forum articles (The Least You Need to Know and All You Need to Know) for the whole scoop! If you have not yet signed up, please do so immediately.
- From now on all GrayMatter Ladder games will use the new system.
- The outcome of games currently being played on on the former 2-day and 5-day ladders will have no impact on the standings of the new ladder unless both of the players have transitioned to the new ladder by the time the match is completed. Please encourage your opponents to sign up at the Ladder House for the new system of tracking match outcomes.
- Once all of the challenges on the 2-day and the 5-day ladders have been completed these ladders will be phased out.
