Regards,
you got lucky Izzy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ha! Ha! Ha!
Thanks Deems1 for your comment. Do you have any games you can post for us to look at?
Black made a couple of real bad moves... Rook to E8 was just the final blunder in a long series of mistakes. Everyone knows when playing QGA and QGD lines the dark squared bishop is a very important piece for black. Without that bishop he gets blown right off the board since the light squared bishop is always the problem. Black not only traded the bishop for the knight but then right after decided to develop the opponents rook into the game while still being under developed. Black had no active pieces and white had 3. This game goes to show how important development of pieces are and a good understanding of opening theory. Congrats on the Game LZjar.
Its part of the Queens Gambit opening, which he denied. with 4.e6
How come you moved 3.c4?
Just two words:
un-believable!!
Luck is my middle name! =)
Nice shot !But I think you're lucky more...
Awsome game iz
It was a thing of art "I". Well played. When are we getting together to play live?
Simply Nice!
13 ...Re8?? was the critical blunder, I think. Still, had he played 14 ...Rf8 I think black is still fine, at least equal if not somewhat better. The rook sac is very pretty, though.
Your right, i guess we all have a natural tendency to move our rooks to these files. If he would have remained he could have defended better.
nice ,good game .
I was always aiming at the F7 spot, I had the idea with my Queen, once he moved to F8 I knew it was done. We both laughed allot afterwards, hes actually a very good player!
that's great Izzi.... did you have the checkmate spotted by the time you rooked?
You are right, good game, and better finish, a 10 for you
