Well done chess.com answering the call of patrons to modernise tournament games in an appropriate manner.  Fantastic I think you deserve a trophy for being a winner.

I'm looking forward to this!  I like the idea of trying to fit a tournament into the time of Chess.com players.  We done again.

I like speed games.  On [edit] another site [/edit] where it's all live (but lacks many other features offered here) one 1minute games, I tend to be in the 1900 - 2050 range in rating.  Speed games play into my weakness which is impatience - not allowing my opponent to spend time thinking of a better move! :)

Live chess isn't stable enough yet to support tournaments.  I'm sure they'll offer live tournaments when they think the environment is stable enough to support them.  That's one of the things I love about chess.com; they're constantly improving and adding new features.

Iceman13, you must have (timeout ratio <= 10%) to participate in most tourneys.

It says I am not allowed to enter because my timeout ratio is not under 10% even though i meet all the requirements to enter.

Thank you for it not being live chess.  If it was live chess, I wouldn't be able to participate.
