Chess 361 – Thinking in Schemes
Level: Chess 361 is aimed at players with a strength of 1500 – 1800,
but it will be useful for stronger and lower rated players as well.
When: Sunday  27 th of January, 2013 at 12:00 PM Pacific Time.
Format: The total seminar duration will be 2 hours and 15 minutes,
with two 1- hour sessions that are separated by a 15-minute break.
Course Description: In this seminar you will learn how GMs think in
order to grasp the hidden ideas of the position, how they reduce
their thinking time to plan more effectively and what Capablanca’s
secret was.
You will get tips on when to use the thinking in schemes method and
will learn how to get the maximum of it.
As a result you should feel much more comfortable in your planning,
your endgame skills will improve and your clock management should get
better.
Prerequisites: There are no prereqs for this course.
