Galiamova lost to N. Kosintseva (the "?" in diogens' table) so N. Kosintseva ties for second with Gunina.

Congratulations to Natalia Pogonina for her outstanding +4 result in this competition, and her first (I believe) Russian Championship title.

Assuming I am reading the Russian site correctly, it looks like Natalija won the women's tournament with a score of 6.5/10. Congratulations!

It seems to my untrained eye that White does have sufficient compensation for the queen in Alekseev - Vitiugov, but of course Black didn't have to overpress and lose.
