Why is e6 a bad move? what line do you have in mind?

9...e6 is certainly a bad move. White reacted terribly, 11. Nh4? moving the knight the second time was already a mistake. After Be3 and Nbd2, or maybe even a4!? with the idea of 0-0-0 a5 Nd7 a6 would have all given white a big advantage.

e6 .. excellent move. secures d5 square plus protect f7 . Needless to say black had completed development by move 10 while white was lagging behind at least 2 moves or more. But after move 10 black didnt capitilize on the lead in development . When Black castles queen side and white king side.. they usually attack each other kings . We didnt see that here.

I l get back to this game laters . Now .. its Dinner time Sealed

I am very curious about the move by black 9. ... e6. The book says e6 usually takes d5. Is that true? What is the difference in the value or strength of each move?
