at least in Seattle. While most of the country is suffering under oppressive heat we had 78 minutes of summer so far. Summer being defined as temperatures of 80F or more. Don't believe it? See here:

If you like share your weather stories. Also, if you AC has broken down feel free to visit WA State. Just bring a sweater ... Smile

Cheers,

Dietmar

If you have ever been in a Wrestling Practice Room then you have experienced Iowa this week!

went to California for 10 days. Man, in San Fransico it was constantly 60F or something like that, while when my family went down south to Carmel (still in California) it was 80F

Today's weather report: 58F and drizzling on and off .. One more tidbit came out: We had 19 hours of 75F and more so far this year. I guess, that makes it almost a day of summer ...

They made a movie about an Iowan that melted one year like that... they called it "The Blob"....lol  He became rich from it and got 2 air conditioners .....lol

I read something about Iowa melting off the face of the Earth earlier this week. I think the temperature was about 110 with heat index nearing 130. I had to work in weather like that last summer, no joke you melt off the planet.

In the time I've lived in the southeast part of SD, the hottest it has been at my house is about 105F air temp, and the coldest was -31F air temp.  Got to love the American Midwest for extremes!

I might want to get one of those funky snow speeders from Star Wars when Lea had them hiding out on Hoth. Or maybe an AT-AT, but they seem kinda slow.

We already had a B!tch of a winter, 6 days with snow accumliation, both before and after Dec 21st. a couple of days back in Janurary shut down the city, and a small ice storm in Feburary. This next winter is going to be a beast. I may have to get snow tires!

Busting 90 almost everyday since mid-May down here in Alabama. Had a lot of afternoon storms too, which is just a little out of the ordinary.
