Welcome to the Chess Mentor Powers Users group! I created this group for 3 reasons: #1 to allow Chess Mentor subscribers to talk to each other about the best training methods, #2 to get feedback on how we can improve Chess Mentor (features, content, etc), and #3 because I need to work on my own chess! :)

Please let me know if you have any questions and enjoy!

Ok call me a little slow but I would like to see some clarification when the courses are talking about variation numbers.I don't remember what variation one is but if it was clarified a bit not just drilled to death id be more inclined to remember it.

Hello ! Just in !

I think Chess Mentor is great because it offers selected situations which are very close to real-game problems.

I'm currently working on adaptive mode, and sice the problems ratings have been modified, I'm introduced to a full new world of problems Smile

Okay, having bought a month's worth of Chess Mentor a few days ago (will probably not stop subscribing after the month has passed), I've now completed "Silman Teaches Tactics (1)"...It's the best way to learn tactics I've come across so far, better than Tactics Trainer because you see the variations explained and there's no [important] timer to worry about. I'm learning how to attack in chess and win material, rather than stumbling upon a tactical sequence randomly. More courses on tactics from this IM would be great =)
