Interesting comment by Kasparov, perhaps he needs to work on his science! Undecided

i imagine in italy we''ll have it in 5-10 years... anyway chess movies are always disappointing, besides the old good "chess fever"

that's the main chess problem: the game is the best game in the world but it is not spectacular in any art and it looses all its fancy in painting, in cinema, etc.

some books and biografies, some good jokes and anecdotes are good.

it is so stupid even to follow live matches, watching players to suffer in public... even more boring than tennis.

let's hope they will not kill it with computers ... as to entertainment: good game is a good game to enjoy and to replay

@ jona004 - actually, if you check the official website it's showing in Edinburgh, Belfast, Cardiff, Hertford, Bradford, Derby and Stirling.  Oh, and London. Wink

    See here for dates.

I'll be surprised if this is on at any cinema outside London. And even then, only the small independent art house ones.

yes, actually there are about 1.2E+57 atoms in the solars system...
So Kasparov missed by a lot
Maybe the atoms in Earth are closer to that (3.8E+50), but there still is a great difference

anyway... i really liked the video, is a great intro

Garry Kasparov knows more about chess than he knows about science - there are a lot more atoms in the Solar System than 10^45 !

The game between Short and the challenger shouldnt take more than 20 moves in my opinion. Make a movie about Kasparov aswell :)..
