We hope to see you again at our next free chess club session which is on Monday, September 19th at 6 PM at the College Park Library building. We won't be having a session on Labor Day because the Parks Dept. will be closed.
Congrats to Chris Bush who places 1st overall in last Saturday's WCC12 tourney. Tied for 2nd U1400 was Marv Martzall, Greg Jackson, and Frank Walls with two points each. Also with two points (but over 1400 rating) was Matt McKnight and Matt Gurley.
Will you be visiting to the Daniel Boone Pioneer Festival this weekend? If so, ..do you know how fast an hour passes by? Hint, Hint.. we still need a lot of one-hour time slots filled up especially for Saturday.

We could actually use someone from 3:00 to 4:30 (1.5 hrs.) on Sunday too if possible (or even just 3 to 4 pm)
All you have to do is come up to the College Park Library and play chess with the public, help give out our 3-fold brochures and cards ,and also ask for contact information from anyone interested in our chess club.
