fave against 1...d4!
I agree with Tartanbob Nf6 is a great move. This position that aaronstone is showing on this pgn Borad can be broken up into little piece starting with b6
Nf6 creates options against whites d4 opening. I now had options of nimzo-indian,kings indian & grunfeld openings available too me. I have read all your comments. All i can say is everyone has their own ideas on openings. If you view games by Kasparov,Fischer or Karpov you will see they used this opening to d4 very regular & had great success. After all they have been the best chess players the world of chess has ever seen. In my opinion if, it's good enough for them to win games by playing first move Nf6 against d4, then it's good enough for me! After all guy's... I did win with Nf6!
I use a slight variation of this opening for white
This is a good opening for both sides in my opion. it prevents white's e4 but in chess games it is very hard to ocupy the two center pawns in the first 2 or 3 moves
it may not occupy the centre but it helps control it as show by this
this is advantageous to white and gives a disadvantage to black as it does not occupy the centre
It is a logical first move for black after 1.d4
This opening is really good only if you know how to use it.
This is 0:1
decent, but I prefer other openings.
i like it
Is this opening useful, i need to try it?
I am playing this as black against a 2400 scorer....let see how that goes
LoL, this actually IS good for black...explain me why it isn't...
flexible for black!
