I normally go for 1.e4 g6 2.d4(2.Nf3 also does the trick) Bg7 3.e5, blocking the Bishop.

I think that opening for black is not very good, because it does not take the center with pawns, and it takes two moves to develop the bishop.  If you play e4 then you are opening lines for other pieces as well.

bad opening, don't play it, I do not want you to know how to play against me.

A decent opening... The fianchettoed bishop can become a huge problem for white if not played well...
