    I would not mind 3.Nd2 because Bg7 is not important in that system at all. More important is in my opinnion to get to c5 and Bc5: White very often looses a pawn in this system. Try me!!

    If White wants to avoid that system, 3.Nd2 is interesting. If Black still plays g6 and Bg7, White has the option of blocking the Black diagonal with c3. This is certainly a subtlety to prepare against if you play that opening with Black.
