A solid base at f3 for the center, Queenside castling, and a pawn storm on the Kingside.

i had always thought f3 was the main line due to on Qd2 black has the extra option of Ng4... which i now see everyone else has already commented on..Undecided

the top game is what I tried against this defence , take away the bishop at the end of the tail , I lost a few times  doing this but eventually won it was a long game so I don't remember the moves Laughing

the bottom game is a game I played with the help of the data bank , I got the moves correct until 30...Kh7 but by then black's attack has failed and checkmate by white will come soon , so black probably resigned after move 30 Undecided

uhm... B75 does not refer to the "f3" move by white that many of the commentators have mentioned.

It mainly refers to 7...a6, when Black enters the mysterious Dragadorf/Dragondorf variation.

The best way we know to slay the Dragon: the Yugoslav Attack.

black is probably better to forestall d6 and play Nc6 then f3 loses its bite.

Yup Qd2 first allows black to be an annoyance with Ng4

I've been playing mostly 7.Qd2 as white as do most others I play when playing black. Maybe I'll give f3 a shot!
