Positively awful for white . I, black, was able to sacrifice a knight to either win 9 points of material or win the game. I forced mate in 9 moves. Here is the fen: rnb1k2r/pppp1ppp/8/2b1p3/6q1/5N2/PPPP2KP/RNBQ1B1R w kq - 7 10

It doesn't expose your king, because 2. ... Qh4 3. g3 ... with the f pawn covering e4 means the queen just has to retreat. For this reason it is nothing like the King's gambit.

However, you really gain nothing by doing this, and you force yourself into castling queen side. Not only that, but a queens side castle that is obvious this far in advance usually means trouble. And you gain NOTHING. You're not even gaining any tempo on the Kings side for an attack because had you developed your pieces first you could just advance pawns to the 4th rank later with one move.

You gain nothing with this opening and it should not be used, unless you're playing against me, in which case it would probably be unbeatable!

The obvious continuation is:

2... Na6, 3. Ke2 and White has a forced win! 

I normally would play Bc5, but trying 2...Nf6 with a reversed Damiano Defense also sounds promising!

Ugh. Can't believe that's really playable. 2...d5 for black, smash everything open and take advantage of the self-imposed weakness.

That looks horrible..exposes your king without development compensation. I don't like King's Gambit one bit, but even that is better than this. Yikes =|
