smyslov usally uses this defense against the ruy lopez
"The Ruy Lopez is one of the oldest chess openings and it is a great
testament to its fundamental soundness and variety that still enjoys
tremendous popularity at every level of the game." Gary Lane
come and join The Radical Ruy Lopez Group, we played thematic matches/vote chess and we have discussion to explore the variations.

Of course it's not the best way.But it also isn.t that weak.
I like it!
It seems quite weak, but it's numbers aren't that bad

pawn g6, and then Bishop g7
what is the usage of putting the pawn g6? Is it for sicilian defense?
