I have seen this style before. It looks a mixure of pen and pencil.

I bet is started off as on thing and took on life of its own. Looks like a cover of a comic book back in the late 90's ......but a classic. Compared to your first drawing with blue hair this looks like on of your ealier drawings before that one. It has less perspective but still strong.
