I read about Paul Newman's death today William. He was my favourite Actor. He was the best of the best, not just on screen, but off screen as well. Just being married to the one lady as a Hollywood star speaks volumes. His endless tireless work with charity, and not for the recognition, but because he genuinely cared. You are right, there is not enough one can say about Paul Newman....a true living legend in more ways than one. I only just watched him in Harper the other day. I even taped it to watch it again...Besides drooling over him in this film, as there was no other man as handsome as him on the big screen, for me anyway, I just loved his acting in it and the lines in this film are hilariously witty. Have you seen it? It's gold!

Nice ! Very nice...

Absolutely the best.  Plus, he looked exactly like my late father...extra layers of sadness.  I cried and cried, and then watched _Cool Hand Luke_ and _The Hustler_ back-to-back for two or three days.  Nobody was ever cooler.

Butch Cassidy will live forever, as played by Paul Newman. A nice guy and a great actor. The world is a poorer place without him, god rest his soul.
