Did you have to ask the cafe before hand, or were they cool for you to just wonder in?

I initially asked one of the Baristas if it was okay for me and a bunch of people to play chess there.  He asked "will you be buying coffee or something?" to which I responded "yes, of course" and received an answer of "well then yes, that's fine."

Most of us usually buy drinks and food there, and we definitely add color and energy to the place, so I think they're probably happy to have us there; I think most cafes would be happy to have a lively chess scene form at their establishment.

Bowens, they look like such a cool and classy group of people. Those photos made me really feel like I wish I could meet/play with the people in your group. It must be a blast!

Oh, and you have some good moves on the camera too. I have no idea why, but chess brings so much to an image... maybe the psychology it brings out in people? Whatever it is, great work, buddy.

Oh, and that yellow vs. green set looks like super fun to play on!

This looks great… there’ll always be a certain level of thrill on OTB that could never be replicated on turn-basedSmile.

Lovely fun! It's good to see ladies accepting men into their chess world! It's a sad condition when men are excluded from one of the most enjoyable aspects of intellectual competition. Perhaps the Hare, the Mad Hatter and I will play a little chess with tea. Good day!
