    ESO510 had a near miss with another galaxy and the gravitational interaction caused the wheel to bend...sorta like warping your bike wheel on a curb.

    Xandy: M64 is one of my favorites and viewable in a small telescope. It's 25 million light years away and located about a fist width to the right of the star Arcturus.

    Really cool. I love the side angle kind of view for the last picture ESO510-G13. Makes you remember that galaxies aren't perfectly flat like they sometimes appear in pictures.
