 here are the steps:

The chess hustlers Hall of shame work-out

1.take the first 15 moves from that game you lost and come to this site http://www.shredderchess.com/online-chess/online-databases/opening-database.html enter those 15 moves from both sides (white/black pieces) on the chess board diagram by clicking and draging the pieces. (if you confuse the moves just click on starting position and start over)

2....once you have entered these 15 moves from that game you lost (to chess board diagram) look right under the chess board diagram, you will see a letter together with a number or ECO code ex C40, A15, E17.. etc (these are called ECO codes)  they are related to the different chess openings, notice that you will see the name of the opening beside the ECO code, well, take that ECO code.

3...once you have the ECO code come to this other site http://www.chessgames.com here all you need to do is take that ECO code look for where it says ECO code, look all the way accross to the right side of that, you will see a blank rectangle, make sure that you enter the ECO code there..ex A40, C50.. etc (make sure you use capital letters when entering ECO codes to that page)

4...once you have entered the ECO code click where it says find chess games, it will take you to a page containing games with that particular opening you played and lost, all you need to do now is scroll down and find the games where your side won (if you lost with black pick games in which black won, if you lost with white you will need to find games in which white won), make sure the games you select are 24 moves long games or longer

5...ok!, now you are at the right place and the "the Hall of shame work out" begins, you will look at atleast 5 games, (depending on whether you lost with white or black pieces as we explained in step 4) and you will put attention to how black or white played so he could win

6.from the 5 games you looked at pick one (the one you liked the most) once you have it up look at the bottom of that particular game diagram window and click where it says PGN view, copy and paste the game PGN to your note pad or some other place where you will have access to it every time you want to look at it for practicing purposes..CONGRATULATIONS!.you have successfuly completed your work-out, but..

let's take it one step farther, try this sites

http://www.wtharvey.com or

http://www.logicalchess.com/hcc/puzzles/puzzles.html let's look at some chess puzzels, make a good effort not to click on solution too soon

note: notice that once you click on solution you can click on next move to walk you throw the solution move by move

oh! one more thing, would be a good idea if you posted your lost game to the chess hustler Hall of shame forum, just click here to go there http://www.chess.com/groups/forumview/the-chess-hustler-hall-of-shame
