Lynne and I have five kids and they're all different.
Carrie, the oldest, is a chess player and is pictured playing in last year's City of Sydney Championship.
Geoff, the next, is a swimmer who last year failed in his first attempt to swim the English Channel. He'll be back in 2010 and is confident that he'll make the crossing.
Mike was both a runner and a bicycle racer. A tough competitor, he never knew when to give up.
Wayne was our fourth. He was a remarkably good squash player but his first love was hang gliding. We lost him almost 12 years ago at age 28 when he fell from a cliff. We still miss him.
Neil, the youngest, has a black belt in kung-fu and teaches people to fly hang gliders. He works closely with "Birdman" Bill Moyes, the guy who invented the sport.
