It is not that painful only when i hit it. I can walk on it but i have to wear a special shoe. I go to the doctor on Thursday to get an X-Ray on my foot and toe to see how the bone is healing up.

Wow! All that was going on and I knew nothing about it! The people who said "owch!" or "That's not looking too good" and similar things expressed my sentiments exactly. I'm sure it's all healed now, but, as I said, I only now, in July of 2009, saw that for the first time. What alarmed me was your comment that it happened as a result of a bunion operation????? I am going to have a bunion operation one of these years (I have huge bunions on both my feet). Is this what happens when you get your bunions removed or fixed or whatever? Would you mind telling me about it? You've got me scared now.

Wow, I missed this Hammer Toe surgery.  Is Hammer Toe something you are born with, or something that develops?  Glad to hear you are okay now.  How is the ankle coming along that sounds pretty inconvenient/painful also.

You can be born with it, but in my case my Hammer Toes were caused by my Bunion Surgery I had both feet done at the same time.

Oh wow!  I nearly passed out looking at this pic.  Looks like it was painful.  I hope you're all healed up now.  How exactly was this caused by bunion surgery?  I need to have that done soon...this looks scary.
