2008 Altoona Kids Klub Chess Tournament

The Altoona Kids Klub after school program held a free chess tournament on May 14th at Clay Elementary in Altoona's Clay Elementary School. Over 50 players in grades K-6 came to play in the unrated tournament. Everyone was a winner as over $1500 in door prizes were donated by local businesses! Thanks to all the sponsors and Altoona Kids Klub sponsors Tori Hanson for introducing tournament chess to the Altoona area.
