2008 Dysart Spring Chess Tournament

The 2008 Dysart Spring Chess tournament was held at the Norma Anders Public Library in Dysart, Iowa. Dysart Chess CLub director Lee Gordon Seebach's first tournament saw 12 players battle for medals and tournament chess sets. The 13 and over age section saw Jaleb Jay of Marshalltown win top honors in a tiebreak game over Dysart native Andrew Heckroth. The 12 and under section saw Nathan Dvorak of Dysart win first place with 6 out of 7 points, outpacing Urbana's Jesse Booker by a half point.
