And the way he communicates his mind to the rest, is equally fascinating as its contents and implications.
Rael
What life is like for those with such a blessed imagination... both awe and terror, noble and abstracted, tender and absurd... a man in thrall of aesthetic possibility, who experienced keenly ideas of the afterlife.
For his sake, I do hope that his fantasy worlds fail to accurately convey the operations of these metaphisical planes... his vision was potent but ultimately fixated on the fate of the depraved.
All in all, a brilliant man. I wonder the way that such visions served him... whether such pregnant perspectives didn't, instead, weigh upon his heart.
Those of us who have worked with the concept have long moved past the notion of Hell as some torturous prison planet ( that notion rests on the crux of a blatant misunderstanding ),
but Heironymous clearly cultivated a rich portrayal of the place he might've feared he could go.
How interesting when considering his psyche overall.
