You know, people say "awesome" about the most trivial things. That was the most frequently uttered word at work. When the pizza arrived, for example, you'd hear "awesome!" Then when something truly awesome comes along, there isn't a good enough word to describe it.

Anyway, your pictures are AWESOME in the full meaning of the word.

Great pictures, man! I love clouds. The Bright Afternoon Shower is a neat one. One time....can remember it as clear as day......no picture unfortunetly....it was 1997. I looked out my window at work, and It was AWESOME! The sky was clear from the deck up, not sure how high,  then there was a bar of clouds, then sky. The clouds were a bit dark grayish purple, and were uniform from one side of the heavens to the other, but looked like a giant wave moving toward my position. The crest of the wave being the clouds. Basically, try to imagine ....the sun was setting...but the sun set on the top of the clouds, disappeared completely, then as if the horizon was flipped over, the sun rose(upside down) peeking slowly until fully reamerged, then set once again on the actual horizon. The sky turned some magnificent colors that evening as well. Nobody seemed to see the same as I did that night. I wish they did, though. To see the sun set, rise, and set in a matter of minutes was so very cool. (Not actually, of course) I guess it depends on what you find beautiful. Hope I didn't bore you. Seeing your pictures conjured that memory, so I thank you.

Some really nice photos. I particularly like the "Bright Afternoon Shower: Warrenton, Missouri" one. Its great the way the light shines on the wet road and the silhouette of the trees with the inferno of a sky where even the bit in the backround looks hazy as if it were burning hot.
