Glacier National Park

Here's a few photos from our trip to Glacier National Park this summer. I actually took about 500 photos but these are my favorite. Smile

I should take you along next time these guys zip by with their 250hp engines and $1K fish locators har har.

I still would like to try fly fishing. The other one --not that I have any immediate plans for this -- is trophy fishing up in Canada. There is a company called North of Sixty who'll fly your group in a single engine bi-plane out to these remote lakes. Check out these hogs: http://www.northofsixty.com/photopages/northofsixty/photos2001.html

(I'm not a fisherman, I just think it just sounds fun.)

That's too much for a fishing lesson! Anyway, what's wrong with a worm and a float? much better results bait fishing than fly fishing.

Funny you mention that. Our original intent was to take a few fly fishing lessons --something I always wanted to try. But a single lesson was $495! I guess that included transportation, lunch and 1-on-1 instruction but wow... quite steep. At that price I will stick to crappie fishing up at the lake.

Nothing quite that rugged in the UK, you're very lucky. What's the fishing like?
