At the age of 39, I have finally bought a car of my very own. Previously I was chauffeured around by my lovely wife, and occasionally drove myself.

It's a Volkswagen 1.2 Urban Fox. I've called it Basil.

Nope, it's a petrol engine. The name is after Basil Brush - a glove puppet on British children's TV! He was a fox too, of course!

I remember the sketch with Basil Fawlty and his car! It's on YouTube here. I hope I don't ever have to do that to MY Basil. lol
