In my past life in the city I had a green house and grew orchids. When we moved to the country unfortunately I couldn't get a proper environment for the orchids that I didn't give away when we moved. I plan to get a terrarium for a few masdevallias but have no plans for a green house for a while.

    My cousin lives in west virginia, Bernard Cyruss he made a little video you may enjoy called Orchids and Ancient sounds..Hes a well known botanist,musician,and story teller in his area.Check it out sometime,and thanks for the photos.

    Yes, I understand that the latitude of Washington is not for orchids. You've got to go down to New Orleans, I guess.

    Your welcome, and thanks for waking my orchid bug. Most of the orchids that I've grown need close to a tropical climate. It's pretty mild here but they need heat in the winter.
