Soccer Tournament

Submitted by Vance917 on Mon, 07/21/2008 at 4:27pm.

This past weekend Code Red played in the Columbia Tournament, and we tore it up, taking home our first Championship ever.  We have won every other league and tournament we played in at least once, except for this one ... until now!  In five games Tim allowed only three goals, two in a game that was meaningless (we had already advanced), so really one true goal allowed.  And nine scored, three each by Brett and Josh, one by Sam (not in the photo), one by Pete, and the game winner in the Championship Game by Matt.  But everyone played hard throughout, despite the heat.  Amanda and Brett were our MVPs.  Front row Kenyon, Heather, Marwen, Matt, Amanda, Emily, Lauren, Brett.  Back row Pete, Josh J, Amaryllis, Colin O, Colin B, Vance, Josh K, Tim, Adrianne, Joe, Bekka.

Thank you Rael!  I guess we all have our alter egos, right?

Soccer will keep you more fit, but given where you live, maybe chess is safer.  No risk of hypothermia!
