Now that the incomparable Dottie Rambo is no longer a contender,the creator of this work [Darlene Zscheck] has a strong claim to being the pre-eminent christian songwriter.

One of her great classics "Shout to the Lord" was performed by all the contestants in the recent "American Idol" series special [Idol gives back!].

The most successful contemporary songwriter [in terms of sales] is the American Diane Warren.An unmatchable talent......just goes to show that Andrew Lloyd-Webber is one smart cookie for co-writing with her in an attempt to find a winning entry for the UK in the European song contest ['The Eurovision Song Contest'].Warren could hum three notes on her way to the restroom and it would be a colossal hit...!
