Hi Trav ! These are some of the software i use for my drawings:

Photoshop, Serif Photoplus 11, Photoscape, Coral PaintShop Photo Pro X3. ~ i suppose for "Civil & Structural" you would call these: non professional !

by the way i use SketchUp 7 and 8, as well !
